newest member of the fam
Say hello to tiniest (2 lbs!) and sweetest girl!! We adopted her on father's day but didn't get to bring her home until this past Wednesday and we've been lovestruck ever since. Josh and I still can't agree on a name, so we've been calling her Kitty, or girl kitty, or sissy for now... but please help us out! I've tossed around a million names, some that I love (but Josh doesn't) and nothing really seems to fit her yet. So really, i'd love your input!
I'm pretty relieved that mosey warmed up to her really quick. He is a pretty spoiled cat so I was worried what he'd think about anything else getting attention but he loves her.. and they've been playing together constantly. They will be the best of pals..
She's the sweetest little (nameless) babe.

Oh my! She's so adorable! She's a tabby, right? I would name her Tabitha! Can't wait to see what name you two will decide on! :)
ReplyDeleteSo so so sweet!! Good luck with the naming!!
ReplyDeleteShe's the sweetest! For some reason the name Petunia came to mind. It's funny that Josh is vetoing all your names...hopefully he won't do that when it comes to naming a real baby! :) she's adorable and I want to come meet her! Also I love how big her ears are!
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely. And looks so dainty. The name Nala came to mind but only because my sister used to have a tabby called Nala :3 I'm sure whichever name you do decide on will be wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! We are living the same life. I am about to adopt my second kitty. I can't take him home yet because he is still too little but I keep visiting. So happy to hear yours are getting along.

You are KILLING me right now. My husband and I were supposed to adopt two kittens when we moved into our new place but the building we moved into ended up changing their pet policies and it looks like it isn't going to be possible this year. I'm so heartbroken. She is darling! Can't wait to hear what you end up calling her...
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a Chelsi, Annie or a Sabrina.
ReplyDeleteAs I was scrolling down to read the comments on this post your salt water taffy post caught my eye, and I reckon Taffy would make such a sweet name for her!

ReplyDeleteOh my, I just found your blog & shop thru the Oh So Lovely ladies, and I love it! Your clothes are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteHave you found the right name for this lil kitty yet? My vote is Buttons!
I ahve never seen a cat with brown eyes. she is adorable.
ReplyDeleteKitty is a fine name for a cat! If Alice from Alice in wonderland were to rename Dinah, I'm sure her name would be Kitty. I have a cat that I got when I was about 5 years old, and we called her Kitty ever since.
ReplyDeleteName her Dinah :-)
