i saw this recipe the other day. and knew i had to try some version of it. here's what i came up with.
i cooked red quinoa with apple juice instead of water.cooked down one chopped nectarine, 1 tablespoon agave, cinnamon and nutmeg.
and layered them in a small glass with greek yogurt.
it. was. amazing.
i want to add pumpkin puree next time.. make it even more fall.
mmm! looks so good. only thing is I dont care for greek yogurt too much. my mom read that you have to try something around 7 times to accumulate a taste for it, but the texture just freaks me outt.

This could be the thing that actually pushes me over the top to try quinoa once and for all. It looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea. I have a package of quinoa in my pantry and I've been meaning to find a new way to prepare it. My husband didn't like it the first time I made it, but he loves parfaits, so I'll try it out on him again.
