Yikes! August snuck up on me.. like the beginning of the month usually does. Summer will be over before I know it and back to non-stop rainy days so I'm hoping to make more time for the outdoors this month..

On my to-do list for August:
-swimming -- we don't have a pool.. but we have friends who do and i'm dying to be in more often
-do at least two photo shoots for fun
-go hiking in the gorge
-go to the beach (more than once!)
-swim at dougan falls again
-wake up earlier -- to get my work done earlier in the day, which makes more time for play

what other summery things should i add to my list?

  5. Hit up a concert at the zoo, go berry picking on Sauvies Island, go swim in the Sandy River by Lewis and Clark park (in the gorge!), drink lavender iced tea in the backyard of Pied Cow, buy art at Last Thursday on Alberta. :)

  6. My favorite summer thing is something you already do all the time; drink iced coffee!

Also, I second IndiaMorgan's zoo suggestion! I would love to come out and visit that Northwest Coast - it's one of the few places I've never been before and I think late summer seems like a great time to visit.

  7. Ahh, going to the beach is something I hope to do this summer! I still can't believe I haven't done it yet.
I hope you get to cross everything off that list by the end of the month!
