ready for some random photos from this week, accompanied by some thoughts..?
okay, here we go!
english muffin, sunflower seed butter, banana, all drizzled with honey, and a couple cups of french press (in my new favorite mug, thrift score!). it's my favorite breakfast right now.
of course, trader joes pumpkin pancakes aren't bad either.
speaking of favorites.. Annie's! I am completely obsessed with their cheddar bunnies (among other products) and last week at 10pm or something i tweeted about wanting some delivered to my door because i needed a snack. The next day the CEO had replied and had a box of annie's goodies shipped to me. Is that crazy or what? I love that they appreciate people who love their stuff! (they obviously didn't ask me to tweet or blog about their kindness.. i just want to share the love!)
i just watched this for the first time ever. ooooh my! In my top 5 favorite movies now! I feel like i should watch it 100 times to make up for lost time. I'm obsessed with Gwyneth Paltrow all over again.
(thanks for letting me borrow it sarah!)
I was pretty upset when i found out the beloved sail boat print for the Float away dress was no longer being made, but after seeing this color combo in the same design those feelings have drifted away (pun?). In fact, i think i may like it better. The options are endless with solids! I'm wanting to make a mint/ivory one for myself sometime soon.
a couple weeks ago the sky was hot pink and purple, it was incredible! Thank you sky for being clear enough to see this amazing sunset!
beautiful bits and pieces, esp the photos with the food
ReplyDeleteLove that movie! Every little bit of it.
ReplyDeleteAnd that is so cool about Annie's!

I love when you write about food! The food you eat looks so delicious and it´s often a little bit different. And I have to say I really like the whole vibe of your blog. Also, my father lives in America and I live in Europe. We haven´t been able to meet for several years, so it´s so nice to read an american blog, because I then kind of feel that the world he lives is, America, comes a little bit closer to my worlds. /Sara
ReplyDelete#1 - I LOVE Annie's products, and I can't believe that they sent that to you! It's great to know that some companies still really value their costumers.
ReplyDelete#2 - The Royal Tenenbaums is the BEST MOVIE EVAR! I want to hug Wes Anderson some day (if Owen Wilson and Bill Murray could jump in there, too, that'd be great.)
Whoa Whoa Whoa. Ok, so the first thing I'm doing after I finish up this comment is expressing my love for Cheddar Bunnies publicly! (You never know, right?)
ReplyDeleteAnd secondly, that sailboat print being gone forever is really sad. I'll have to follow up with you on my original email requesting that gorgeous mustard and ivory combo instead. (When the time comes for an engagement shoot, that is!)
Cute and random little post. I enjoyed it.
Great snippets about some of the best things in life :) A mint/ivory combo for that dress sounds amazing!
ReplyDeletelovely! and i am so ready to get the minty skirt--it's perfect for march, with tights and then summer with barefeet!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! That's awesome about Annie's! I love companies that really care about their customers... it seems rare now days! Plus Annie's IS amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha that's such a nice surprise to recieve on your doorstep! Sometimes I feel like we should buy stock in Annie's because of all the mac and cheese/bunnies we buy for Bennett! Seriously great stuff and I love that they went out of their way to send you that! I love the colors in your new mug, and I think that dress totally works with solids! Maybe we will see you at church tomorrow...I hope you're out enjoying this amazing weather! :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures as always.
ReplyDeletewish they delivered some to my door >.<
Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteThe Royal Tennenbaums is THE best. You should definitely watch it 100 times to make up for lost time! ;) I didn't used to like it but now I think it is hilarious. In such a cool way.
Found your blog from a post about a Portland bloggers' meet-up--I went to another one today! Go Portland =)
First time ever!? It's one of my faves. I'm obsessed with nut butter and pickles. Making it on toast as I type. Just in case you want to experiment.

Oh dear, I'm torn as to level of agreement here: I love, love, LOVE Annie's, especially the bunny pasta, but I personally find Gwyneth Paltrow somewhat condescending in her manner. Sigh. Oh well, at least I'm sure that I love your blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteMint/ivory for the sail away!!! Please show us if you do make it.....I love the sound of that colour combo :)
