Bedtime routines
Bedtime routine at 5 months:
A fresh diaper and clean jammies. A book or two (or three, four or five). Lots of rolling around on our bed to get out last bits of energy. Singing a couple songs—You are my sunshine and a few we made up. About 100 kisses on those cheeks of his. And thank you prayers for a healthy baby who has a warm place to sleep. And a few extra kisses just in case the previous 100 weren't enough.
Then he goes to sleep without a peep.
(If only we had that kind of success with nap time)
The PJ's are from Old Navy and the kitty rattle is from Ikea

The dress is amazing and really beautiful with and without the straps. I am so excited to wear it and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
ReplyDeleteLove the mint striped PJs he has. Don't worry about nap time, it'll come eventually. I just tried to make sure it was at the same time every day, and after a noticeable event like after stomach time, or after we heard a specific song... You could also use the reading to mean you're going to be sleeping soon... actually, that sounds like a good idea, I might do that with my second baby. Lol.
ReplyDeletelove his little striped pajamas. adorable baby boy

ReplyDeletewith us it was the opposite, lots of naps during the day, no sleep at night >.<
