juice. juice. juice.

I've been a juicing machine this summer.. atleast 5-6 days a week, sometimes twice a day. Throwing anything I can think of in there. These are some of my favorite combos.. (aka ones i make over and over and over). I'm always on the prowl for interesting combos so if you have any, please share! (A friend recommended juicing a sweet potato with fruit and adding cinnamon, apparently its creamy. I'm excited to try that one)

  2. ohhh, i'm so excited to try these combos! and i think we have the same (or at least a very similar) juicer :) i've been giving my pulp to the cows (my fella's parents have 2 cows) they seem to be pretty happy with it so far, but ill make sure to try the nectarine/raspberry pulp for myself!
i haven't tried too many different things with mine yet, mostly juicing carrots, pears, cucumber, greens and citrus fruits for my girls... now i want to try all of these tomorrow!!

  4. These look great!

My favorite is 1 handful of kale and spinach each, half a cored granny smith apple, half a medium cuc and half a lemon. Green machine!

(I also read somewhere that you should core your apples before juicing because of the seeds that have traces of cyanide.) <--After seeing one of your pics of uncored apple slices.

And another great way to make sure that raspberries are clean clean,(meaning the part on the inside of the openings), place raspberries (and strawberries) in a mixture of water and white vinegar to kill of any mold or spores! Let them sit for a minute or so and then simply rinse them off with water.

Thanks for posting your recipes, I will try soon!

  8. do you use these uber healthy juices as a meal replacement or to go along with meals/just as a drink for during the day? I suppose it wouldn't be too healthy to replace meals with just liquid though, at least too often.
My uncle asked if I wanted his old juicer and I can't wait to get it. I think it might be more appealing then when I throw all my veggies into a blender and drink the thick, smoothie-like version of it.

and a random side note: on my blog (kaylabramer.weebly.com) I posted about my top sites I have bookmarked, and you're at the top of it! Just thought I'd let you know.

  9. I want to juice and have so many combos that
I want to try, but my mom's juicer is such a drag
to clean ): what juicer do you use and do you
recommend it? I'm dying to taste the last juice
    you mentioned.

  10. My old roommate was an obsessive juicer and she tried all kinds of delicious mixtures. Beets add great color and earthiness to juices! I'd recommend that for sure. Also, watermelon is always a good juice or fresh tomatoes for a Sunday bloody mary (does that defeat the purpose of fresh juice?) haha

  15. Yum, these all look and sound so tasty! I had a bit of a juicing flop the first and only time I tried it, so I'll have to re-try with possibly one of these recipes. Thank you for sharing so many different recipes. Also... so happy to have found your blog!

  18. Remember sherbert lemon? this is a Jason Vale recipe and so easy. 2 apples (sweet not tart, so golden delicious or similar) and inch of lemon not peeled. Juice and enjoy over ice.. seriously it just tastes like lemon sherbert. (I like to add some ginger too for a slightly spicer zest)
