south germany

we spent a few days off out in the middle of nowhere in south germany. it was some of the prettiest views i've seen in my entire life. These pictures don't do it justice. I'd say fall is definitely the best time to visit places like this.

Berlin

Berlin was by far the best city we visited in Germany. A local friend showed us around the city to all the neat historical places and directed us through the public transportation. We got coffee at a cute little place called Caras and walked around the big mall across the street, where i passed on the cutest orla kiely notebook, which i now strongly regret! (Why did i do that??)

Bielfeld, DE

{wifi hasn't been steady so i'll be posting when i can but probably not as often as i thought i would be}

Bielefeld was gorgeous, as you can see. We went to Sparrenberg castle which was absolutely amazing. And also walked around downtown a bit. It was nice to have some locals with us who could translate and tell us more about what we were seeing.

We've been having a blast so far. Driving is a little bit crazy for us since the roads are TINY and our vehicle is ginormous (and we can't read street signs) but it makes for some good stories!

last week

Hello!
The last couple weeks have been crazy busy, hence the lack of posting. I spent all last working a crazy amount of hours to finish up dress orders before we left for Georgia saturday morning.. which made for a stressful friday night packing which involved a lost passport and tears.. (it all worked out!) Then we spent saturday-tuesday hanging out in Georgia with friends and family! Vanessa and I drank pumpkin coffee, talked a whole lot, ran around downtown savannah in the rain, gave ourselves glitter manicures. It was awesome!

We're in germany now and it's been quite an adventure, as it always is in a country where you can't read or understand anything! I'll have some pictures from today up soon!
