Hello friends!
I think its about time I show you what has been taking up the majority of my day, every day.
and voila!
If you follow me on twitter, you probably already knew this. (See? You should follow me on twitter!) A little over a month ago I quit my job as hair stylist (sometimes it takes working in a field you thought you'd love to realize you, in fact, despise it). And after months (or years!) dreaming about how I someday wanted to design my own dresses and make them and sell them, I realized the only thing holding me back was fear. So after much encouragement from my husband, I decided to take the leap of faith and just do it! For the past month I have been working my TAIL off, sketching and designing and drafting and cutting and stitching for hours and hours. There have been days where I was jumping and dancing through the house after finishing a dress and there were days where i felt like I made the biggest mistake of my life (in reality, i was probably just tired). I don't know how long I'll be doing this or where it'll take me but I do know that wherever it does take me, i'll be so happy i took a step of faith and just did it!
I'm hoping to have the collection out in 2 weeks! And I will definitely keep posting more news as it happens.
Oh, and here's a preview of what you might find in the first batch of dresses.
