Coco donuts is becoming a favorite quick date spot for us. We stopped by on memorial day for a little coffee date while it was pouring down rain outside. It's the cutest little coffee and donut shop and while I'm not the biggest fan of donuts (i'd rather have a cookie or muffin) they have a lavender glazed one that is great, and their lavender latte was amazing! (I'm a big fan of lavender if you can't tell). Plus it's  quiet and cute and the workers are always so sweet!

You gotta try it if you're ever in the area!

Dujour magazine guest blog

Farmers market mini donuts
I guest blogged over on dujour magazine blog. Click over for an amazing chocolate doughnut recipe and browse the rest of the blog while you're at it.

I've been working with Dujour since July (suprise!), and I'm excited to be a part of the team. It is a wonderful magazine, with amazingly beautiful editorials. It's all seriously gorgeous. And the first print issue i was a part of will be out very soon. More details coming shortly. For now you can go drool over the website..

farmers market

Vanessa and i have been doing the farmers market every saturday since june, (I can't believe its the first time i've mentioned it!) and it makes saturday a blessing and a curse. A blessing since I get to bake plenty of treats and sell them but a big curse because it means waking up atleast a few hours before normal and sitting outside in the awful (horrible, disgusting, crappy, dreadful, ect) summer heat.

Ha! Okay, its not that bad. Actually, its super fun. Just somewhat exhausting. Saturday afternoons usually consist of a nap and plenty of couch lounging for the rest of the day (while watching tv show box sets of course).

Oh, and some pictures of our treats.

hope you're having an awesome weekend.

i have some DIY household cleaner recipes to share soon. exciting, yes?
